This is not news. Been covered before, LCE Performance has had them on pre-order for a while now. There are 3-4 other threads on this already.

 

The description state that a new pump is included. Was that in the TRD kit? (I don't believe so)

Anyways that might explain a little bit of the increase.

LCE is showing a dyno that seems to be higher than most truck with the TRD version and reflash. @Rock Lobster was yours ever on a dyno?

 

It looks identical to the TRD SC. Why is it $2k more?

Yea LCE is now showing 289hp and 291tq for a 2015, someone must have dyno'd a 15 with the kit and Bully Dog flash.

 

Yea its weird on Magnusson's site they have the same dyno for a 15. Something doesn't add up because its gonna lose more than 16hp to the wheels.

 

Sorry if it was a repost i hadnt seen it yet, but i thought it would be good info for all the people that were upset that TRD would no longer have a supercharger for their trucks.

 

Did not include a pump upgrade, with the TRD s/c. Which would also mean that it would have to comes with new hoses, similar to the URD kit. IF this Magnuson kit comes with a new pump.

The addition of the hand held tuning device. That price I believe is in the BullyDog thread.

 

Lol, you could probably pay $6200 to a competent shop to drop a 5.3 LSx into these trucks.

 

$6k would go a long way toward the down payment on a V8 truck...

 

There correction factor was in STD. It will read a little higher than SAE correction. I have no clue if they had an engine on the engine dyno for the BHP numbers, but it is a possibility. What we do see is that the dyno provided is a chassis dyno, and is on two sites. Which means that the dyno chart has been distributed from Magnuson. With a probably correction for sea level as well. Hypothetically but probable. Being that the dyno started before 3K rpms, my guess is that it was a manual.

The scale is even as idicative of the two curves crossing at 5250 rpms.

It is still in a percentage range with expected numbers. Different style dynos will have different number outputs. Drivetrain attached being the lowest. Mustang eddy current style, then inertial drum.

 

I doubt it's CARB legal for us CA folks.
