    Legit outdoor event?

Hoof it north of Athens to the Broad River Outpost on a Saturday morning. Bring your own yak or rent one. Set up group camp at a free sandbar campsite, paddle all day, chill all night. Wake up Sunday and head out. Accessible for 2wd and 4wd. Athens is down the road for whatever else interest you Friday or Sunday.

im lowered.... I was thinking of a few places, Gwinnett place for a legit mall (food options like crazy there).... if yall want to do Athens, is there ALOT of parking at the varsity (after all were the Varsity squad mall crawlers). we could also try discover mills bass pro, but their security actually patrols the area... and @MadDaddy if you want to camp I am very likely going to Talladega for the geico 500....

What's up brother. My truck doesn't really stick out like a lot of trucks on here. It's a just a base model regular cab 5 lug. I did put some larger tires on though. What do you live close by?

yeah but something about Florida that Georgia fans hate. I'm sure one will chim in soon. They could lose every single game but beat Florida and GT and it would be a winning season for them.

But I like the Discover Mills location. It's a bit bigger than the last one and it's a badass mall too

I hate Florida, but I also hate GT, Tennessee, and LSU. I disagree about the losing thing. My wife and her family are all Tech fans and we all go to the game every year and after this last game we beat GT in Atl after an upset in Athens the prior year. Since the season was awful, I didn't even feel that I could rub it in my wife's face...I was so sad. But ya, most UGA fans are idiots lol

Fun Gators fact: Neiron Ball, who played for Florida from 2011-2014 and now plays for the Raiders, went to my high school. I graduated with his brother Neland, who played at UGA for a few years. I see Neiron around town from time to time and I've seen him in our local gym a few times too, but I don't really know him well enough to strike up a convo

    Boom, case closed haha

Damn that's awesome! I went to high school with Chris Conley who played for UGA and now the Chiefs (kinda a dick) but I guess that's cool? :notsure: I know the freshman at the school go crazy every time he got the ball

That was usually enough for the "keep Mark Richt" crowd. There are those of us that See it as a losing season if we don't at least win the SEC...which we haven't since 2005.

Exactly. I love Mark Richt, but he was becoming stagnant and we needed some new life in the program, which I think Kirby can definitely bring. I want to see a National Championship before i die lol! My boss played with Kirby at Georgia and they are pretty good friends, so I'm hoping those benefits trickle down the totem pole to us peons lol

Even this year? With a brand new QB and coaching staff? I was surprised with how well we did this year. Now the last half of the year I'd prefer not to talk about :anonymous:

People keep saying it's Tennessee's year but I don't see that happening

If we win the east, I'll be happy this year. Kirby has all the talent he needs to make a run at the playoffs. Chubb coming back healthy, Michel, new threats at wideout, Mckenzie making crazy plays on special teams, the defense should be stacked, even though we lost Jenkins and Floyd. If Eason can play well enough his freshman year to get us to the SECCG, I'll be a happy man. As long as Grayson Lambert isn't our starting QB, I won't have thoughts of jumping off a bridge.

I think it'll be an interesting year for both of our teams. It's gonna get really damn good in the next couple of years! I guarantee that Eason starts. Your QB's sucked ass last year. We had a great defense and that's what kept us in games the later half of the season. Looking forward to next year should be very interesting
