I wouldn't pick on him too bad...i'm not much faster than he is. My bike is basically geared for trails...

    He's a great guy. I imagine he doesn't care.

If you ride with me, there will be plenty of wheelies...and i can't really do them past about 60-70ish

I'm just saying as far as buying a used bike that's older, I completely disregarded 4 strokes becuase of the unknown and the amount of money it would take to fix.

    I don't disagree...but the 3rd gen t4r was probably more reliable :p

If i was buying a bike strictly to trailer between trail rides, two stroke

A bike for literally anything else, 4stroke

Oh well, at least you're on two wheels. What is your riding experience so far?

I felt the same way....until i downed this bike the first time. About $600 later it was basically back to looking as good as it did.

Not long after that i started absolutely trashing the shit out of it and taught myself how to wheelie. :D

3rd gen t4r is more reliable than both our trucks.

It's alight, besides breaking my rear fender. I've gotten better at not being throwing back when I get on the pipe. Need better clutch control and need to loosen my grip on throttle handle.

K...its a two stroke. You have to give it some nut to get it moving....but not enough to loop it lol

Going to leave my personal opinion here for folks, i honestly believe a 250 2stroke is not a good first bike. Especially one as powerful as a KTM.
