I have one of those. I don't vape so I'm not sure I'm doing it right.

Do you at least have some monster energy stickers and a flat brim hat?

I don't vape, drink monster, own a flat brim hat, or say 'bro' frequently. Not sure I'm cut out for one. :notsure:

Ran out of light today. Everything works flawlessly right up to 120 psi. Just need to finish up wiring and clean up a few things.

You guys may not be impressed with the slider tank, but I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Project took the better part of a day and a half, but that including cleaned up all my wiring in the cab.

This looks messier than it actually is, prewired the other two slots while I was at it:

Need to pick up some blanks, or some seat heaters, but this turned out very clean. Might eventually buy all matching switches, but doesn't bother me enough now. Even with the ARB compressor switch.

    upload_2016-3-7_17-52-39.jpg

Manifold with lines going everywhere. Locker solenoid is wired and working and just waiting for an air line to be run.

    upload_2016-3-7_17-53-52.jpg

Quick connect on the front bumper. Complete with flaking paint, missing headlight filler, and cracked light lens. Winter's been rough on my rig:

    upload_2016-3-7_17-55-3.jpg

Line going into the slider is pretty high, and right behind a leg. Don't think it's too vulnerable.

    upload_2016-3-7_17-56-3.jpg

Pressure switch is 90 on 120 off, and it takes like 20-30 minutes for it to kick on when I'm not using it. Don't know if that small of a leak is worth tracking down. Overall I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

    Thanks!

And got a head start on this weekend's project:

    upload_2016-3-11_18-34-34.jpg

I can't believe the amount of dirt and mud caked into the front of my engine. The crank bolt came out with a handful of mud. Also found the water pump was leaking.

Nice! You get the tool or making your own to torque the crank shaft pulley?

I'll make a tool if I have to but not planning on it. Pneumatic impact zipped the bolt right off, should get in on within the german torque spec of guten-tight. I'll toss the truck in 5th gear and put a torque wrench on it to double check.

It's supposed to be like 193 ft lbs? I know when my tool bent up I used the 5th gear trick to tighten it up more than I could get with my attempt at a tool. I do think if I need to do it again I'll get the tool just for piece of mind.

First step though if figuring out how the hell to get the crank pulley off. Bolt came out with zero fuss, pulley doesn't want to budge.

Pulley puller. The 2 holes are threaded 8x1.25mm about 3" long bolts

I got it after a bit of tapping with a rubber mallet, wiggling back and forth, and some penetrating oil. Only after did I realize that I had a pulley puller sitting in the toolbox....

Rest of the job was very straightforward. Torqued the crank bolt in 5th gear no issue. Sprayed a pound or two of mud out of my radiator. It should work better now.

I had the same issue, took a decent amount of rubber mallet persuasion as well. Glad you got it done!
