Lets be honest... the volume button should have been longer on the Entune Nav/Radio

Does anyone else feel this way? Or maybe its just me constantly hitting the screen trying to adjust the volume.

I agree. Also, Bad layout for the speed dial. I am constantly tapping the speed dial for "mom" which is right by the volume. I need to change that speed dial to Dominos....

This might sound really really rediculously bad but the lack of a volume knob is one thing that cost Honda a sale on a 2016 Accord Touring. The Touring models (maybe others) only come with a volume BUTTON on the steering wheel & stupid "swipe" on the head unit (no knob). When I purchased the new Camry a few months ago (knowing its primary driver would by my mother when she's visiting from out of state) I was concerned about driver distraction. The new Camry has a steering wheel button AND the all important volume knob just like the JBL units in our Tacoma's & my T4R.

Yes, and it has too much turning resistance. I was actually thinking of putting a strip of grip tape around the knob so I can get a better grip with my fat sausage digits.

I like the size/shape/position of the vol button. I've never accidentally call or hit buttons. I use it about 1/3 of the time, the rest of the time I use the wheel controls. It may be a personal habits thing where some people do a lot more adjusting, or are more/less attentive when adjusting, or may grab deeper on the knob. I can see how it "could" happen if you were less careful or had sausage fingers (even though I do). I prefer a control knob though rather than swipe or buttons.

I hate those radios. I work on a lot of different cars. Nothing I hate more then jumping into a vehicle and those stupid touch buttons take forever to turn the volume down. Or trying to find the power button to turn it off quick while your driving them into the bay. Most people like knobs. I'm not very old (31) and realize Everything is going to pretty much be touch control in the future, but that doesn't always mean it's better.

I wish the steering wheel had a few more controls. I hate having to reach. Wish it looked like an F1 wheel. At least a temp up/down would be nice.

Guys... Consider that knob on the radio as the "mute" button... that's all I use it for..I pull up to the drive-through and find it easier to just HIT that button than twist it or hold down the steering wheel vol. control.....I know it turns the unit off, but that don't matter to me as I don't do Bluetooth, or smart phone... And when I HIT it again... it's back on at the previous vol....

If you fingers are doing other things to the screen, try reducing the touch sensitivity....

    Cheers:)

I haven't had an issue with it yet and my nick name was gorilla hands in high school. I only grip the rim of it and not the whole knob if I choose to use the volume knob instead of the wheel control.

I agree, the 2013's had the perfect volume knobs. It was amazing how upset i was over such a small feature when i traded for my 2014!

Happened to me, too. You can customize the home screen in settings. Move the position of the speed dial buttons to top left. Make the radio bottom left by volume control knob. Now if you accidentally touch the screen when turning the volume control, nothing will happen.
