Well, no you weren't a member before this happened unless the frame went to hell in the last 2 months. Your posts consist of "im buying a new truck!" Followed by "toyota screwed me!"

Your profile says you've owned 2 1st gens and the 2nd you have now. So you've had a frame rust truck, and then another, and now a third. You didn't buy from toyota, so toyota did nothing to you. Maybe the guy you bought from screwed you with a vehicle he knew was bad.

The frame rust issue was sent to specific areas. The shop here had never heard of it until i spoke with them.

Your rust didn't just now happen, the dealer didnt cause the problem because he didnt tell you, the problem was already there when you bought the truck. The only thing that just happened was you getting told no.

Go to a different dealer, try for a yes.

Its kind of funny that toyota is actually a victim but is usually viewed as the bad guy. If video surfaced that showed mr toyota (im assuming mr toyota owns the company) placing an order for frames saying "make sure they rust out in a year! Screw those people! Mwuahahahahahaha!" Id feel different. But no one is talking about company that took the order and used bad matetial, just the company stuck with the damage and spending a lot of money to fix it.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Are you retarded? Or have you been hiding under a rock the past few years? Toyota has already done their part with extended warranties and frame replacements and truck buybacks. I myself have a brand new frame on order for my truck this very minute as do many others on these forums.

Taking legal action and rallying up against them makes about as much sense as pouring salt inside your engine. Really fucking stupid!

You never mentioned why you weren't notified? This is very important.

I just got my 2004 Tacoma back from the dealer about 1 month ago. I was one of the people who was never notified of the bad frames. I'm not a 'car guy' by any stretch of the imagination. Bought the truck new maintained it, drove it, and never went looking for trouble.
In June of 2014 while getting my inspection sticker I learned my truck had no frame! Rotted away. Gone. It was then the mechanic told me about the voluntary Toyota recall. I never heard of it prior to that. I called Toyota USA, gave them my VIN #, and sure enough, my truck was on the list. I asked why wasn't I informed via a recall notice? They said they sent me several, and got my address off my registration. That turned out to be a lie. When I asked them to repeat my address, they read it off. The recalls they sent, all went to the wrong address, and came back 'returned to sender'.
In spite of this seemingly overwhelming evidence, Toyota USA, nor the dealer would budge. They said sorry, your recall expired, nothing we can do. I tried to trade the truck in, and they offered me $300 as scape metal.
I fought with them for 7 months. I finally gave up, and contacted my state's attorney general's office, and they assigned me a mediator. It took 17 months, but in the end I persevered. I ended up getting my truck completely rebuilt, not just the frame. My only out of pocket expense was $1900.
    They replaced:
    all new brakes
    new frame
    new leaf springs
    new shocks and stabilizers
    new muffler and tailpipe
    new sensors
    new tie rods
    new front coils
    new brake and fuel lines
    new water pump
    new timing belt
    new battery
    new hood release
    new drive belts
    new windshield wipers

In the end a lot depends on how hard you're willing to push. In my case, the attorney general's office made all the difference. I'm not sure I could have pulled this off without them. Also, don't lose your cool. Be polite, and document everything. This battle is winnable.

Seriously consider giving out your phone number and your email address to him via private message. It might suck to explain to your wife why strangers keep texting dick pics to your phone.
