Same thing happened to my neighbor's dog last year. It was a champion German Short Hair, not that old.

Forgot to post a pic of the new snorkel (idea from @sytfu510 to diy fab a snorkel with glass fenders since there isn't such a kit). Big thanks to @JLee for welding the aluminum together

I have thought about doing something like that for a snorkel as well. I just don't like the thought of spending $500 on a plastic one.

Speaking of, if anyone wants to "buy" my old custom in-cab snorkel (goes behind glovebox). A case of beer will do lol.

Let me know and I can even help you install

It's about damn time! Glad to see you got it all wrapped up. Looks like it worked out perfect...I did have a few moments of doubt when we were mocking it up. Definitely gives the truck a new look!

The under fender and hood shots looks like what I just posted. That's aircraft ducting - some pretty good stuff. The only difference is now instead of a reducer and smaller diameter hose, the larger diameter hose is longer and attaches to the aluminum tubing of the snorkel body

haha thanks again for your help. It's still not done. I bought some door trim that I'm going to wrap the fender hole with, that's just so the snorkel body doesn't get scratched up (anymore than it did when I installed it lol). I'm also thinking about repainting it flat black. The satin black on the bumper looks nice, but satin on the snorkel is a little too shiny - maybe because it's aluminum idk

I like the snorkel hidden behind the glass fender.
