what do you have planned for your current bumper? you gonna sell it? if so how much?

 

Oh I see you didn't run the aluim. Pipe all the way.just through the fender. I was thinking you took it all the into the engine bay. Awesome job. Were do you buy that tubing at? Just for future reference if I go this route. Im most likely going to just use a hilux snorkle and modify it to work.

 

LOL that's right. It's all yours. Just know that you gotta drill a hole in your truck, so the small hose goes behind your glove

I figured Its all good Id prefer to drill a whole there as opposed to on the outer fender though

Yeah. Nice guy. The bumper is stout. I like the integrated hitch tubing behind the plate and the tubing that braces the sides. It will make a great platform for a swingout.

 

Nice. What are you planning to do with you rear license plate? I just ended up putting mine on my tailgate lowrider style

 

I see @Overlanerd has developed a rear bumper buying problem. Its ok.....i blame Tacomaworld.

I'm going to temporarily mount it with the bottom flush with the bumper. Because of the camper, I won't have tailgate issues. It will eventually get mounted to a swingout. Probably on a storage container.
The tire is going to stay underneath. Eventually, the tire will move to the swingout and I'll put a 15 - 20 gal. auxiliary tank underneath.
I plan to make (or have someone fabricate) a swingout with 2 or 3 rows of reinforced unistrut welded to square tubing. That way I can change up the configuration as this money pit evolves.

Haha! I blame everything on TW. The HC bumper plan wasn't scheduled until next year.
Next thing you know I'll be mounting 35's and going LT...

 

Ahh makes sense. Yea I was thinking of making it flush with the bottom of the plate, but then my tailgate wouldn't open all the way
