OEM Rear Leafs

So after more research and putting the leafs on I decided to keep the yellow on the drivers side and white on the passenger side. This way the colors matched the colors of the coils in the front. That seemed to do it. Rear end of the truck is level. So.....Yellow "Made In Mexico" goes on the drivers side. White "Made In Mexico" goes on the passengers side.

 

Seems to go against the posting listed above...did you have the springs off the truck where you could compare the arch of each against each other as mentioned previously?

I did but could not tell a difference between the two. Then again if you compare the stock coils in the front to each other as well you can't tell a difference between the two. The only visual difference is the color markings on the coils. I did however reach out to a friend of mine who has a 2015 that's stock. He climbed under his truck with a small mirror and said his coils were yellow on the drivers side and white on the passenger.

 

Was thinking about this later, realized that the threaded hole in the spring clamp that the brake line bracket bolt mounts to is threaded only on one side of the leaf pack, but not the other, on the oem springs. That's one way to know which side is which.

 

Good call! I'll have to check mine a little later to see if just that one is threaded. I'm curious now.
