What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

changed out the grill with one purchased from a fellow TW member, and bought a bed divider.

 

How do you like that cargo divider?

 

Awesome. have used it multiple times. Bought it from the dealership. very well built. with the stock cover you just need to get it in the right position , but theres not too positions it cant go in.

 

Anyone had any luck recalibration get the speedometer after lift and tires. If so how?

 

I've been look at getting one, I think it would come in real handy out hunting or camping.
How much did you pay for it though the dealer if you don't mind me asking?

 

There's a speedometer calibrator device you can buy for $100 +/-, not sure how it works exactly though.

 

Yeah, once I get my bigger tires ill see if Toyota will want to do it.

Tried out my Carista app and OBD Bluetooth connector. Turned off some annoying dings and chimes. Changed some light settings. Worked as advertised. Happy with the purchase. No more having to go to the dealer to make changes. Carista Bluetooth also connects to OBD fusion app.

 

Installed Prinsu rack , dipped grill and emblems red

I had my Taco at the dealer having a new TPMS sensor installed because the installer cracked one. While there I asked if they could recalibrate the speedometer. The "Master Tech" said no need, the speedometer is based off of the wheel sensors. Unless you make a huge change in tire/wheel size there is no need. I politely informed him he was incorrect. He came back later and said he called Corp. about it. He said it had to be done aftermarket. Just my experience. I hope it helps.

 

I like the rack. Not a fan of the red though. But to each their own. As long as you like it!

Got her all cleaned up for my date with the wife tonight....first time in 6 months with no kids!

 

Just pulled grill apart and prepped it for dipping, applied first coat and am awaiting for it to dry. It looks hammered, someone please tell me it will smooth out....

 

What kind of headlight bulbs did u buy? Where did u get them and how much?
