Thanks man. I appreciate it. My plan to dip the grill mesh kept getting shot down so I'm working on another idea now. I wanted to dip it in the thin blue line flag and no one would do it so now I'm hoping I can find someone with a CNC that can cut me a skull. I basically want to put something similar to this on there.

I'll get an LEO tribute on there somewhere if this idea doesn't work out either.

Got my Satoshi grill completed today. I've had the mesh since Christmas and originally planned to wait and buy a color matched grill. Changed my mind and then wanted to get the mesh hydrodipped buy no one would do it. Finally said screw it and just started the install.

Only issue I encountered was the instructions called for the upper portion of the mesh to be sandwiched in between the chrome and black insert and the lower portion of the mesh rests on top of both pieces. I'm no physics major but without cuts in the mesh that's not even possible to do.

So I cut a little more off the black insert to create a bevel for the mesh to rest on. Glued it all together with Automotive Goop. That crap is strong!!!!

    Final results.

It was a Christmas gift from customcargrils.com

It's quality material and comes pre bent. Price is under 100 for the upper and lower piece.

Yeah the lower is pretty much a waste. It just gets zip tied on and doesn't sit level. Mine points toward the ground a little. I'm planning on putting a light bar down there eventually anyway so I'm not messing with it.

I'll say the install was easy until it was time to glue the mesh in. Maybe I did something wrong but I found it impossible to get the mesh in between on the bottom and still have it rest outside on the top. I watched the installation video a dozen times and it looks like they just snap it in. I made my own bevel but this created a bigger gap along the bottom between the chrome shell and the mesh. Nothing that concerns or bothers me, but if you are looking for that super custom look it may be a deal breaker for you.

Just take your time and you'll be fine. Their instruction video is very easy to follow. Watch the whole video a few times before you start and you'll get a good idea of what the cut up piece is supposed to look like when it's done.

Yeah I had to go back and trim up a few spots that I could still see. Piece of cake though.

Not sure on the shipping time since it was a gift.

The tires really were the icing on the cake as far as the aggressive look goes. I'm super happy I went with them.

Ride is different for sure. It's stiffer obviously but less than I thought it would be. I need to play with air pressures a little too. Tires are currently at 40psi which is too much.

It's also a little "wandery" on the pavement. Mire than likely a combination of the alignment still a little off and no more swaybar.

Yeah maybe a 32 psi (thats what I generally run) but yeah the tires look awesome and altogether pull It together very well! Without a full alignment and no sway bar you will get the wandering. After a full in spec alignment you will be solid and wont be dealing the wandering.

Everything came off and went on pretty smooth. No issues at all. That is until we dropped it down to take it for a couple test laps. Holy caster batman!!!
