Is there a specific list of items that we Canadians get standard on most trim levels that the US doesn't get?

Off the top of my head I know of the following:

    Mudflaps
Homelink(?) rear-view mirror with auto-dimming and compass
    Carpet and all-season rubber mats
    Towing package and hitch cover
    2x D-rings in the bed
    4x bed rail cleats
    Door sill protectors
Long bed for most trims (short bed only available for m/t)

    Anything else I'm missing?

normal matts? all I got was the all weather ones.
this may turn out to be an interesting thread.

and, I had asked my dealer to check the atf and grease before delivery and give me a copy of the service sheet saying they did so....nope,
now they are saying the paper will come once Toyota signs off on the PDI inspection, seems odd?

You get the carpet and rubber floor mats plus you get the D-rings in the box.

Just realized I could check the specs on toyota.ca and yep "Carpeting, Carpet Floor Mats, All Season Floor Mats" included in all trims.

Check behind the rear passenger seat for the carpet floor mats, that where mine were, the all weather mats seem kind of cheap, bought a set of weather techs at Canadian tire for 75 bucks, they fit pretty good.

Appreciate all the "includeds" listed - very few items necessary to round out what I needed to feel well-equipped on the road...

Most dealers at least where I live put it in the price. Add it as a standard feature automatically. Is it a option where you live. I thought every dealer in Canada did that.

Can't say it's really necessary in the most populated areas of BC.

Do you need to know, or care?
Ya, no block heater on the Limited in Vancouver.

It's up to each dealer to choose to install the block heater in Canada iirc. While it might not be necessary in metro Vancouver it's nice to have when you are on a trip to somewhere colder. Plugging in at a hotel avoids rough starts anyways.

Did anyone notice when Toyota Canada bumped up the prices for the 2016 Tacomas?

Your truck looks awesome, any issue with the ride? What lift is on there, n who installed it?
Looks like more than 3", is your warranty still good?
