    I can't agree with you more. I just received a 31mm bulb for the dome light from superbrightleds.com. It's too tight to fit and ended up in a trash can.

    All the bulbs in the OP fit/worked perfectly - even the dome - no flickers so far

    On page 4 of the thread is an excellent write-up. The trick with the map lights is a 45 or 90 degree pick. Simply put the pick in towards the base and wiggle and the bulb pops out. Took me less than 2 minutes to R&R both.

    Sears has a decent craftsman 4 pc pick set with different angles that is usually $4.95. Nice to have in the arsenal. Just FYI

    The map lights are easy to replace, just pull down the top console, there are (4) red plastic retainers that just pop off. The bulbs twist out from the back.

    The vanity LED's have a small triangle recess near one of the corners on the white square. Make sure those are pointing "up" and to the "right" and you'll get them installed perfectly the first time. I ordered all my lights through VLED's

    Yes, they fit, little snug, you have to push hard. I just put them in this morning, I was able see how bright they were this evening and really impressed by them.

    That Metal nuts guy keeps saying 28mm-29mm for dome light but I don't want to get the wrong bulb. Part #from Toyota says 31mm.

    31mm for dome is right yes? BTW thanks guys I don't know what I would do without this forum(prob save some money lol)

    While I was changing out the map lights the dome light in mine went out on its own and now wont come on with either bulb. Did I fuck something up? lol
    No pops or snags or anything while pulling the overhead console out to swap map lights but the dome light has apparently been affected somehow??
    Did anyone else have this issue or know of how I could fix it?

    its because the oem part has unique end caps which ensures a 31mm fits correctly. if you go aftermarket, the 29mm fits correctly since the end caps are universal.

    Installed my Amazon kit today, hardest part was the license plate lights (I've got big hands). Pulled the entire console out for the map lights, easy as hell. Looking forward to seeing it at night!

    Also threw in the JDM reverse lights, holy hell do they make a difference. Highly recommended.
