    i keep seeing "bump" in threads I'm reading about items for sale. What does this mean? How is it done?

    Ok thanks for replies. Is there a "bump" button or link? Or how do I do this? I have a tonneau cover for sale ad and didn't see this link or whatever to "bump" post.

    There is a trick to save time when you bump your thread. You can leave the p off and just type "bum". Bum works just like bump, but bum is 25% shorter. Heck, in the 3rd gen threads people just assume you don't know how to spell. Even the smart ones read bum and think it says bump. I mean the whole bump, when you just typed bum. I hear bum works on other forums too, but I don't dare try.
