These may end up in my posession sooner then I anticipated. After I take care of my monthly bills I will see how much mod money I got leftover and if it ends up good to go I will be getting them from you VERY soon! Figure in about less than 2 weeks.

Going to put in a re-order to the laser cutter for 4.0L plates, if anyone is interested please reply or DM me so I can get an idea on how many sets to buy, thanks!

 

Anyone got tips for swapping these suckers in? Do I need to cherry pick the motor? Or can I just pull one side out and swap new ones in?

 

You can do them one side at a time. Do the drivers side first, it's the more difficult side due to cramped working space. Motor must be suspended with a hoist or supported by a floor jack and be able to be slightly moved/pryed around.

 

Yea that's what I'm figurin, run a strap around the motor onto a cherry picker.... Really don't want to pull the front diff out, or just jack on the oil pan?

 

We jacked up the motor from the oil pan. Just throw a block of wood or phone book in between.

 

FYI I'm starting a new project...4.7 V8 Tundra Motor mounts/tranny mount. A member contacted me and put a deposit down. So within a few months those will be available as well if anyone here has a 1st gen tundra or knows someone that does.

Not even started yet bud lol. Still waiting on the right time to pull the part off the customer's truck that works with Chris's moving time frame(he's moving from one house to another and needs the truck to be drivable until he gets settled into his new place) Once that happens and the truck can sit for a while I can pull the x-member. I could technically pull it now but I would have to give it back to him and get the truck drivable within a couple weeks and I just don't think that's enough time to do what I need to do. I don't want to rush this one bit. Also the customer has been unable to send me a payment yet due to some financial issues that are not his fault nor in his control. I spoke with him about a week ago and he is trying to have those issues resolved but it's difficult since he is deployed at sea. Worst case, once Chris gets all moved in and the truck can sit for a while, I'll pull the part and build you the first one if that works for you. Sorry about the delay but it's outta my control at the moment.

Yeah I added the info & prices to my signature because I already told the customer the prices and based off the 2wd auto mount I upped it $50 due to having to buy an extra bushing kit & a few more laser cut parts. Prices "should" be good to go. When you have funds available get in touch with me and we'll see where I'm at!
