Those look like an easy option. I just need to go over everything. Plus I need to wire up my x change drivers for the halos.

And we'll I found this today...:(

Not sure if it happened when I closed the hood or what. That may be a place where there is a good amount of bondo too but not sure.

Turned my good day into a bad one that's for sure. I'm afraid of water getting in there and really screwing things up.

My wife works at In-N-Out in Centerville, Utah, and this last week when she was working in the drive thru she complimented this guy on his sweet taco. And then she asked him if he's on TacomaWorld.. He said yes haha. Proud moment for me..

Would look dope with the bumpers and grille done, just don't forget the door handles. I didn't bother removing mine to paint, just tape and cover for overspray

Thanks for the tip! Definitely would have overlooked that. Waiting for the rain to let up so I can do the rest

Decided to change the plugs, wires and PCV valve. Valve covers have been leaking 154K so I tightened them up went to change the PCV Valve and the grommet crumbled and fell into Valve Cover. Didn't wan the pieces floating around in the oil so decide to pull Valve cover and replace the gasket while I was fishing the Grommet out of the head. Went down hill from there. Now I know why dealer want $550 to change the gaskets. Got one off and the spark plug tube grommets in the valve cover are so brittle the are hard to get out. So tomorrow I will go get a large Aluminum roasting pan to use for solvent and soak them for a while so I can replace the grommet. Will finish it up Monday. I am retired so I am not in a hurry. will get the Passenger side one done and install it and connect all the wiring then do the drivers side. 154K of heat and hot oil does not make it easy to take thing apart. Thank God I haven't got rid of my tools.

Honestly, id just remove the "flares". Our trucks come with useless ones. And damn does it look clean without them.

How I wish I could go flareless but I would have those ugly holes showing. :pout:

I think I'm going to paint my 00 flares and see how they look and then take them off for a while and see what I like more!

Sounds like all of that stuff was overdue for replacing. Well worth it.
