I feel like I'm taking crazy pills right now (or maybe cuz I had a few tonight), but what the heck is the difference between these two wheels? One is the Method Grid, the other is the Method Mesh.

The inside edge of the edge looks machined? But yeah the bolts being different doesn't seem like they would make a whole different model, maybe change a part #

I've been looking at both of these too. I contacted Method and they said the Grid wont' be out till June/July.
Differences i've noticed just based on looking at the pictures available, not any official spec from anyone.

    1. Grid has zinc plated bolts versus stainless on the Mesh.
    2. Grid has a bevel around the edge of the faux beadlock. Mesh is more of a flat edge similar to their Standard wheel.
    3. Grid faux beadlock seems to have an undercut similar to the method NV. The mesh does not have an undercut. I've heard some complaints about guys with the undercut on their NV's get water and sand trapped behind there, and even after driving they can't get it to flow out. Personally I like the undercut and it wouldn't stop me from getting the Grid.

I think the Grid looks better personally. But the money is burning a hole through my pocket and I don't want to wait till June/July for the Grid. So i'll probably get the Mesh.

Those grids look good. Same bolt style as the method 105 beadlocks I have.

Personally not a fan of the polished faux type. Those are the ones that came with my truck

The 309 Grid didn't fit my 2020 Tacoma Offroad due to caliper contact.
Method says that the 306 Mesh will fit. Evidently the 306Mesh has more of a concavity between the mounting hub and the spokes, allowing clearance for the calipers.

Interesting because they both have the exact same offset and back spacing. I've seen guys running the 309's on the Tacoma before.

I like method wheels with enhanced caps. This style and many other styles of caps will soon be available on eBay. There is a guy in the Landcruiser club that sells the caps and hardware to replace the plastic end part of the method cap.

I agree, method actually sell caps just like this but they aren't in stock right now.
