Do a search on blind spot monitoring and you should see a couple threads. The sensors aren't sealed the best and don't always hold up under rough conditions.

I tried that as well a week ago or so. Guess i need to try that again.

I just installed Scout gps link on my phone and my truck found it and installed it on the entune unit too...

I dont really care about music apps... I mostly wanted the gps and it seems to work without the entune app working. Shows up under apps now and everything.

Did you go with light gray? Just ordered a pair with light gray but I'm worried it may be too light and show dirt easily. Any thoughts now that you have yours?

I was originally going with charcoal but I changed my mind last minute as I thought it was too dark and not much of a contrast from the black sides.

Check out ARB. They make airlockers and you could go front or back or both. Plus, you would have an onboard air compressor for other uses as well. That's what I was going to do if I couldn't get the TRD Off-road I wanted.

    Demello Offroad Bolt on Sliders-

Wondering if anyone has bolted a pair of these on yet. There are 8 holes 4 on the bottom and 4 on the side of the frame. The 4 holes on the side are there already. It uses one of the bottom holes from the drives haft bearing cross member the other 3 you have to drill. I set my passenger up in place to check the fit. There are 2 holes I'm concerned about. The furthest forward has a weld right through the middle where two sections of frame meet and the other I think will be OK. It has a pre drilled hole that was used to weld another section of frame from the factory inside the hole. I think I have enough room to drill a hole next to it but wanted to see what others have experienced. I have not set the drivers side up in place but assume it's gonna be the same way. I'm concerned because the experience I've had trying to drill through welds has not been a pleasure. I'm not trying to turn people away from the sliders. They are a very nice product and I still do recommend them. And no judging, yes I used my puppy's kennel to hold them in place. It was the perfect height. If I had gotten the weld yourself set I personally would have had them about an inch or so closer inward and inch or so higher. But I'm sure there is a reason for their placement such as to allow flex or bending of the sliders and keep from damaging the rocker panels like they are designed to.

Hmmmn...I'm thinking the same thing but I want to stick with factory tires I like the way she corners, MPG..etc and I'm really not an off roader...unless I can find some AT that handle as well as the Toyos do...Don't need or want the "rugged Look"...

I decided to wash my Tacoma the first and possibly the last time, so I took some pictures! I actually washed it because you can't see the mod here, but I applied RejeX polymer coating on every body panel. Took a few hours but thist stuff protects the paint longer than any wax I know of.
