My truck has been at a shop for over 3 weeks. Waiting on Tuff Country to figure out a fix for my tires rubbing on the sway bar end links at about 3/4 turn, not suppose to rub.

Is that something mounted to the truck or just hooked up to reprogram?

Doubtful that there are any programmers out there for these trucks. Dealership can do it though

Reprogram. After thinking about it, I bet most companies really only mess with vehicles that have V8's.

What's another $229 when I've got about $10,000 in mods on a truck I've had for two months and have only use

Boss lift versus Icon lift for the money?

    Opinions ?

    Icons Stage 1 or 2?

Icon is a superior lift IMO, but if you go the Boss route, get a progressive add a leaf for the rear, not a block. Also, you don't have to buy the Icon's in stages. You can mix components individually. If I didn't have a shell, I'd go with the extended travel front, tubular uca's, non reservoir rear shocks, and progressive add a leaf. But since I do have extra weight in the back, I am getting rear reservoirs and a leaf pack. Also I think because the '16's are heavier than the 2nd gens, I think it is recommended that you get the 700# springs for the front, but any vendor can tell you for sure the optimal setup for your truck.

Thanks for the opinion. How do I choose the 700 pound spring? Looks like with the Boss kit you only get up to 2" and the icons can get up to 3", is this true?

Did my first long drive in the truck with the lift and tires. Averaged about 16 MPG. Had to shift into sport mode a lot going up hills to keep the momentum. May have to consider re-gearing.

The '16 sits up higher in the front than the 2nd gens. I think you can get more height with the Icon, but you limit your down-travel. I'd check out some 3rd gen suspension threads, they can probably answer all of your questions.

Are those toytec springs the 112-620 or 521-600? Thanks for your time.
