That's a nice area. I used to live right around there before I moved further south.

Sunday at 1 sounds great. Since you're down 280 now, there's a chili cook off at Brookwood Village Saturday. There's always nightlife downtown Saturday. I can recommend several placesfor Saturday night, too

Ok you have to bring that new truck up to the meet. I haven't had a chance to even really look at a 3rd Gen in person.

Swan Creek Wildlife Management Area has a shooting area. Need to have a valid wildlife permit to use it. I bought a fishing license that covers. Check their website for specifics.

As far as things to do...... Tonight: Avondale (the part of town) is always hopping... Saturn is a live music venue, the brewery,, and several good restaurants... Also the Lakeview area has fun restaurants and nightlife,,, or the northside loft district is a cool food part of town. AAll of those are 10-15 minutes from you on 280
Tomorrow: There's a chili cookoff really close to you,, a crawfish boil about 30 mins away during the day

Also this link has some free/cheap suggestions for this weekend..... http://happeninsintheham.com/author/happeninsintheham/

Thanks for the suggestions. Do you know of any places that will show the UFC fight tonight? We might check out the Tilted Kilt to see if they do.

Ended up going to Superior Grill since its walk a walk around the corner from my hotel. Good food and live band. Lots of cougars tho haha.

I know that Overtime Bar on Lakeshore is showing it. Small, nothing special but fun. On 280, I'd check with On Tap Sports Cafe. Great food ,,tons of beer and really close to you

Agreed with above. I believe the Buffalo Wild Wings have the UFC fights.

I'm in. And speaking of good burgers, there are a couple of great places to grab a bite by the brewery.

I've never been there on a weekend, but not surprised there was a line.

I can't comment on the 5 points area places. I've only been there once, and I haven't been back after holding a guy on the ground waiting for cops after he tried to steal my wallet.
