I agree actually. Not OEM on 95-97s though. Still look nice though. But i still prefer the clean no flare look personally.

 

Came with em from the dealership along with some running boards which are collecting dust. No clue who made em

 

Even with the holes I think they look better. I've been throwing around some ideas about how to cover them, either fill and hide them or accentuate them.

 

@mrbeggins just put the clips back in and filed them down and painted them to match. Worked well i thought.

 

Not a bad idea if it works, wondering how they stay in once they're filled down. I've got a couple ideas how to fill permanently.

 

Could do fiberglass tape behind the holes and then body fill.


Or just cut the fenders along the holes for some extra room.

 

Have any of you had to replace your door handles? What's the best replacement? My drivers side just broke on me last night.

 

I put a bumper on my stock truck and it rode like crap, super splashy on the road. It wasn't till I added my coils before it rode normal again. If you go that route, get the lightest bumper you can, otherwise it will ride like crap imo. I went with 700# coils and it's a bit stiff, but rides 1000 times better than it did with stock coils. I have a badlands bumper myself.

 

It's kind of a bitch @m3bassman has done it a few times I think!

 

Mother of god!!!! Door handles with Shrek hands.... I hate it. I've done it s couple of times with replacements from rockauto. Fairly priced.

 

How hard is it to get the door panel off?

 

Not very. 3 phillips screws and itl pull off

 

Just the screws in the inside handle and the arm rest thing?

 

With clips on the back of course.

 

They just pop off I'm guessing.

 

Yea. Just start on the front where plastic is. Some of them go into a hard cardboard material so i use a flat head screwdriver to help them come out without damage but first time i didn't and nothing happened.

Once all are unclipped pull the panel straight up.
