That is not a helicoil. You pulled the threads out of whatever the bolt goes into. You need to figure out the bolt diameter and thread pitch and pick yourself up a helicoil kit. It looks like aluminum so it wont be hard to do at all.

Been seeing this one in my neighborhood.
Montana plates. Looks like a brute force bumper.
    Anyone recognize?

I couldn't buy any new diesel. All the emission restrictions are detrimental to these engines. Not built like the 15-20 year old diesels.

Thanks, you are right..except that I can not reach where it is at to install such kit. I just got it back together..My attempt to solving was to get the same thread bolt except 10mm longer. It got ahold of the bottom half of threads in the hole. I didn't torque it quite to spec for fear it would strip.

Letting it set while I clean up, not sure how long it needs to for the FIPG. I hope it starts.

I go there all the time. It's my preferred spot in Denver cause it's not all fancy and expensive like a lot of the places are. Everything you need with nothing you don't.

Yeah, but you know it wouldn't be the same vehicle if made here in/for the states.
