We took it off with my set up and I can definitely tell going around the 270 degree interstate on-ramps trying to maintain a decent speed but other than that I hardly notice. I get much more flex in the front off road now too. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

You don't technically limit travel with the bar on but it makes flexing significantly harder. You are connecting your ifs (independent front suspension) and making it dfs (dependent front suspension) haha. I just made that up ....... But non the less, a sway bar isn't to limit travel, it's to limit sway. So imagine lifting your truck up from the center and your wheels drooping down or imagine squishing the front end of your truck down in the middle. Your ifs isn't working independently but rather each side is moving together. In this way, no travel is restricted. But when flexing, each side works independently. The sway bar is intended to make that movement harder thus decreasing body roll and increases traction and stability around corners. This helps dramatically on road where, for the most part, you aren't consistently seeing big, harsh elevation changes in the terrain but can be easily compensated with stiffer compression valving and/or stiffer springs. However off road, you see these changes very often, don't need near as much high speed cornering stability and traction and, most importantly, need your ifs.

Fuck it, run without them. Or get glass fenders, but don't run factory flares painted black

I just think it's going to look odd with matte black flares, and coming from someone who dipped his flares over a year ago, It doesn't come off easily at all. There's still dip on my rear flares in some spots

Took me about 4 hours to change my rear shocks.... the lower bolt on the passenger side seized up with the metal bushing. I was expecting about a 30 min job. Also got the cv replaced finally.

I had my flares plasti dipped and as long as you put enough layers on it peels off very easy and still durable for off roading.

Yeah I've had my valence dipped for almost 3 years now. I just clean it up and do a little touch up dip every now and then.

I will admit that area was a lil tougher to come off but I used over a can of dip per fender flare. I just pulled the dip off slower when I got to that area.

Minimum of 8 coats, 12 works better. Prep work is important too. I've never used spray cans though, only thinned and sprayed through a gun.
