What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Those bedside look nice, who made those for you?

 

Do they sell those at auto zone or advanced auto parts? I know the AVS they sell at advanced auto, I think. Was thinking about picking up the AVS since they sell them at the store.

 

Added 20 HP today
It's a little smaller than the original shifter knob but I like the look of it.

How much of a difference does it make while driving on the roads

 

No real major difference, just a tad bit smoother on bumps. Only drove it once so far so might be a bit soon to tell.

 

Added a hula girl and changed the oil for the first time since buying the Taco. The car dealership changed the oil when I bought it. They put the filter on a little tight. This is my first oil change on any Taco and I had no idea that when you pull the drain plug for the oil it COMES OUT with a lot of force and volume. I had oil spraying everywhere and I had to tilt the catch pan to keep most of the oil in the catch pan and on my flat drain pan.

What type of lift did you go with?

 

True but a friend gave me some gigantic channel locks the other day and I thought I would never have a use for them because they are giant. I used them today. LOL.

 

Did you try hitting it with your purse first?

 

I got a few things done today. Cleaned the interior and waxed the exterior. Hit 21,000 miles this morning.



Shiny enough?


Finished my underhood lighting.


Detailed the engine bay.


Dipped my front badge.


And built a shelf to hold the canopy.


All in all a good weekend.

 

How bright are those leds under the hood?

 

Well, noticed I snapped my trailer harness adapter off roading...
