It's the back yard hose bib with the supply coming down from the ceiling. Leaking somewhere up by the ceiling. Just see the water dripping down

 

I would almost bet a fitting is leaking at a tee or elbow.....

All i can say is start cutting up the wall until you hit a dry spot....

 

Nope. Plumber was here today.... said the pex (or whatever the orange pipe is) was bent to come down the wall. No T or elbow. Just one piece of pipe

 

Well shit leaks can be a pain sometimes to find. Just have cut until you hit dry drywall. Did he find the leak or have a clue of where?

 

Yeah, they found it - said the pipe is split. Will be back first thing in the am to repair it. split right where he said it would be.... he's seen it many times in his 25 yrs as a plumber

 

Well, thats a good thing they found it. I don't think you're supposed to bend that stuff when I used it to run water supply for my garage on my old house I was told no bending....

 

Well it survived 13 years, but yeah, not supposed to bend that much. I'll be happier when the leak is fixed.

No pic... won't tell you what we had to do to sand / paint the tail of an F-111 up on jacks No way to get a B-2 stand in there... Just a B-1 stand with a C-1 stand mounted on top of it

 

made the bend too tight to comedown the wall

make sure your plumber puts in a 90 support, make sure it never happens again

He's going to put a 90* elbow in. No more bent pipe.

 

but you are AF....they don't have custom built stands for ya'll? That's some Navy ingenuity you came up with there...lol...we have 707's that we work on, damn near everything we do is in a cherry picker

 

Jet was on jacks and nothing would fit behind it, except for what we had and it wasn't tall enough

 

Yeah, NOPE!!! Not anymore, anyway!!!!

Nope. Pipe is split way up the line where it was bent down the wall. I keep the hose bib covered when it's cold out.... Learned my lesson my first winter here.
