What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Looks good! What products/methods did you use for engine detailing? I need to do mine soon.

The LED's aren't crazy bright, but bright enough to see what you're doing when its completely dark out. I tried to put them in a location that doesn't hurt your eyes too much when you're standing in front of the truck.

 

I used armorall for the engine bay. And a lot of elbow grease.

She is a blue healer/aussie mix. Picked her up at a gas station in the middle of nowhere eastern Colorado right after my honeymoon while towing a trailer to move to Iowa..... That's the short story anyways. Juniper is her name. And Finnegan is on the right.

 

Had to remount my CB antenna because of my shell, all good to go now.

 

Which mounts you go with?

Diff breather mod. Had an itch to do something--anything--to my truck. I mean, within the confines of the law.

 

Got some Weathertecs and decided to wrap the door handles with paracord.

 

Swapped out the 2nd gen Offroad wheels with 3rd gen Offroad wheels with some Cooper Discover AT3's.

 

Nice! I've had my Cooper AT3's for a few months now and love them.

 

Time will tell but at $575 out the door I couldn't resist.

 

That's a steal of a deal.

Hauled this beast all weekend helping a buddy move.

Also did a little posting with ol glory flyin. Bottomed out the other trailer I was pulling along with digging my hitch into the ground.

 

I payed $1,080 for my set.

I'm not a big fan of Pep Boys as a matter of fact it was the first time I used them. They had a sale of buy 3 get the 4th free on cooper tires. They had the cooper AT, but I asked about the AT3's which they ordered and gave me the same deal. Also have a $70 rebate going on right now when you buy four.

 

Simple Green, twice a year. No elbow grease. Spray it down, let it sit, rinse it off. My wife's 9 year old X looks great (in the salt belt), and so does my 08 Taco. You can use a detailer after if you'd like.
