I bought my spray paint and clearcoat from scratch wizard on Amazon. $35 + $10 shipping. Paint matched up nice. Don't know what bbp paint code is for your truck tho. That link is for white.

Realized you're looking for plastidip and not paint...

Installed some L-track along the front of the bed for tie down points for dirt bikes. I will cary up to 3 dirt bikes in the Taco, so I love the flexibility of L-Track for tie down points.

I got the L-Track from http://www.uscargocontrol.com (~$40), trimmed it to length, then to attach it, I pulled the Aluminum bed rail (black bar across the front) off, which was held on by 5 torxs machine screws (the female side to the machine screws were thankfully attached to the bed, so I didn't have to figure out how to hold them between the bed and the cab). I then matched the 1st hole on the L-Track to the first hole on the bed rail, and then drilled and counter sunk the 4 remaining holes into the L-track to match the bed rail. (Kind of a bummer that the pre-drilled holes in the L-track did not match at all, but...) Super easy install, its very versatile, and i can take it off and put it back to stock configuration if I ever want to.

I originally got single stud D ring L-track fittings,

    42506-single-stud-fitting-w-round-ring-black_1_640.jpg

but they are not completely secure the way I tie my dirt bike in, so I am sending them back and getting the double stud large opening fittings (I have used the double stud fittings with my dads truck and L-track setup).

The 3M molding tape, where did you find it at a hardware store or an automotive parts place? Thanks

Yes those fill plates add a bunch of weight but I will accept that for the peace of mind to prevent my dog or kids feet/leg getting hurt.

Emblems look great. Nice job. Seems a little time consuming and frustrating with your method though... You know you could have dipped those still on the truck right?

How are you liking the Coopers? I've always run bfg at's and ran a set of the KO2's on my 4Runner, but looking at other options for 295's

No I have RCI with fill plates but looked hard at Apex since the design looks good. Ended up not getting them primarily due to price and cost of shipping (weight). What sliders are you looking at once you sell your Apex's?

    Mostly stuff I built.
Got bored sitting around waiting on it to get built...

Off topic but Toyota related. I did get productive and install an OEM trailer hitch and wiring kit on my wife's FJ. That was the easiest hitch install I have ever done. It literally took me 35 minutes.
