I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Really the best way to install the kit is to disassemble the leaf pack bring it to full bump with just the main leaf installed on the truck install your bumps and then the shocks that way everything bumps out when it should.

    Check out the build
If I would have known man! I would have been ok with tearing down the leaf pack, but the guess work turned out really close to being spot on.

Besides the additional flex, is there a noticeable improvement in ride smoothness?

I noticed with mine, but the leaf springs themselves contributed as well

For the record, Jerry's kit has nothing whatsoever to do with your ride. Your ride is completely up to the leaves and shocks. This kit merely allows you to run a 12" shock for more travel. Bump and down travel are effected, but the actual ride quality does not change.

The angle of the shock does and since this kit is more custom as to how you mount it, I could see it differing between people. However, I mounted mine the same as how Jerry recommends so forward mounted and a little under 90* so you're right there as it wouldn't affect ride quality like leafs, bumps or shocks would.

Angle of the shock will only effect valving. You can have it straight up and down for 1:1 or angled and it all comes down to valving. I just don't want people to get a misconceptipn that this shock tower is going to be magical and make everything amazing. I had it, I liked it, had no problems. Pick the leafs that will best suit you for what you want out of your truck, IE weight in the bed and/or lift, and then get a shock that works for you (progressive/digressive) and have it valvee correctly for your leafs and use and your truck will have a smooth ride. But you can do that with any aftermarket leaves and shocks, this shock tower just allows you to have a bit more travel over stock, if your aftermarket leaf pack is capable of it.

Hello all. I just purchased the BAMF relocation kit and am excited to do the installation this weekend.

I have longer 8" U-Bolts for my All Pro standard leaf pack, but did not get a U-Bolt Flip-Kit. Can the BAMF shock relocation kit be installed without flipping the U-Bolts? My concern is the lower shock mount may come close to the bottom of the leaf spring lower bucket. I am a 2wd prerunner so the ground clearance is not a big concern.

    Thank you in advance!

I have installed one without it but I cut his buckets. I highly recommend the flip kit you will get more tire clearance with it as that stock bucket pushes out the lower placement over an inch.

3 weeks and I finally get to do this relocate.

I'm going to "properly measure and cycle it also"

Any chance you could make extended relocation brackets for 14in shocks? Seems like there is enough room for 2 more inches above the top of the current bracket.

Not without coming a lot closer to the tires. The bed tapers out and the more we go up the closer you are to the tires.

Ahhhh yea that makes sense. I'm looking at the total chaos MT sua kit and debating 12 or 14in shocks.

Would a 14" travel fox 2.0 resi(35" extended - 21" collapsed) work with this mount with 7" rear suspension? I don't do any off-roading but I love the look. Any info would be appreciated thank you.
