None yet, starting over!! OME lift w/ Dakars & 885's Remote Start w/ window control
Multiple (related) questions in a recent thread of mine... can anyone in here help out a bit? Have plenty of time this weekend to put my new kit in, but have to get any additional parts ordered quickly if I'm going to get everything I need in order to do the install.

14' DCSB... total suspension newbie here so any help is appreciated :)... If I went with 887s... I would get 3"in the front. Correct? How much do the Dakars provide in the back? I want to keep some rake.

Here's the setup I'm planning on doing: OME 885 Coils on OME 9000 nitrochargers w/ light racing UCA's in the front with Bilstein Extended Travel 5100s and Allpro Expos in the rear. Just wanted to know if this will give me a full 3" lift and what y'all think about the setup in general.

Based on my numbers I'd do the 887s instead

If I'm not mistaken the 887s have the same spring rate as 885's but are just a little bit longer correct? If so, I guess it might make sense to go with 887's over the 885's to compensate for sliders.

Yes 887's are the same spring rate as 885's and 884's

I know on a DC you should get 2.5" with 885, but since you have an AC I'm not sure. You may get the full 3" from 885

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, but there's really no downside to 887's especially for when I get a plate bumper in the future right?

Well if you're going to get a bumper you'll need 886 for full 3 inches since it has more spring rate, if you do that I would say wait so you don't end up buying two sets of springs

Steel or aluminum bumper? Winch? Skids?

I've got 887's now. Full set of steel plate skids. About to do steel bumper and winch. I might have to do 886's soon. We'll see how much she sags.

@HeadStrong Off-Road Here ya go Marie! I can give you a few pics pre-lift if you'd like. These are all I have post-lift as of right now. It hasn't settled much yet, but I'll give ya an update once I've put 3k on it with 500+lbs in the back. When I first put it on I measured about +4in front and +6in rear! lol

I just installed 90021 struts, 885s, Dakar leafs, and SPC UCAs from Headstrong. I didnt do any measurements before, but so far Im loving the ride. Need to start thinking about 886s soon, because I have sliders and a hybrid bumper on the way.

Looks good! I believe the 90000 struts are recommended for the 886s though. Just a heads up.

Alright. Here's the deal. I currently have 884s with 3/4 in plate spacers and a 1.5 in AAL in the back. I'm looking at some bfg ko2s (285/75/16) my wheels have 4.5 bs with 0 offset. Will I be ok? Thanks, any info helps.

Sometimes the higher lift numbers are due to the worn factory suspension. Basically the factory springs are providing negative lift so the aftermarket lift numbers can seem to be much higher then they really are. Not to say that they don't provide more lift since they are new but you will see some settling over time.

It sure looks like you are having a good time breaking it in though!!! I will add the pictures to FB so I can show your truck off!
