You are welcome. I ran the wire through the tail light where I had my Coax running. I dropped it through there somewhere and onto a bolt on the frame that I could get to in the rear wheel well. Scratched off the paint with a screw driver and hit it with some paint when I was done.

Yesterday I was out fuckin around in my grandmothers field and must've hit a steel post or somethin that's been dumped back there over the years because I've got a gash over a foot long that run around my tire, all the way through the tread and down into the tire itself. It still holds air but I'm going tomorrow to get discount to replace it (road hazard warranty) I'm going to try and get them to just give me 2 of them because I don't want 1 tire at 19/32nds and the rest at 13-14/32nds. What do y'all think my odds are of talking them into giving me 2?

I had a screw go through one of them already and they just plugged and patched it. Come to think about it, I actually think it was the one that is now gashed.

Well then you're fucked. You'll probably have to buy one if you want 2 to be newer.

That's what I'm mentally preparing for. But if that's the case, I'm keeping the one That's still alright and using it as a spare, in which case I'll order a matching wheel and do a 5 wheel rotation and will have a brand new (100<miles) 315/75r16 procomp at2 spare for sale.

Don't you have to have a screw close to the sidewall for them to replace it?

Yea, It's gotta be in the shoulder of sidewall. If they won't give me one im just going to bite the bullet and buy one either this week or the week after lbl. I'll have to get a matching 5th wheel here soon.

Fuckin steel belts saved my ass. I can see them under the rubber through that gash. Drove from Nashville to Knoxville on it though. Asshole was puckered the whole time though.

Somebody just pointed out to me that it kinda looks like a tire defect rather than a cut. Any thoughts/opinions from y'all on that?

It's a clean cut but yeah i doubt that's defect if it wasn't into some tread blocks and not the others then I would say defect but it's not.
