So I have some questions about these buttons. After reading the manual we are told to not engage any of these features/buttons unless going less than 2 mph (manual transmission, which is what I have) and 0 mph in an automatic. Yet they put these buttons in a place that can be accidentally hit by me or my passenger when trying to open or close the sun roof. If I am on the freeway doing 70mph and the lock rear differential button is pressed, will it engage or will some safety mechanism not allow this to happen? Wouldn't that cause an accident, too?

It won't allow you to engage any of them unless you're in 4 lo.

    None... sigh
What trim level truck do you have? I have a TRD OR 4X4, no tech package, No A-TRAC button. Is your truck a 2WD OR? I know that the MTS and CRAWL CONTROL are standard, just wondering. Had A-TRAC in my 2010 and 2014, both 4X4. Thanks

Only manual trans trucks have A-TRAC, and the manual can only be had as a 4x4, so that's what OP has. Crawl Control and MTS replace A-TRAC in the automatic trucks.

EDIT - missed it, just barely.

You guys know your stuff. Yeah, manual 4x4 OR is what I got. Love the manual, too. My last tacoma was a automatic and I liked that but this round I really wanted the 6 speed manual.
