    Mght be a very minor gap between cap and camper shell. Most camper shells have a flap that hangs down past the door which will work.

    Ill get a mesurement tomorrow from the top of the bed rail sides that the camper shell sits to the top of our cap so you have that dimension to check.

    Just off of guesstimation, our cap sits approx 1/2"-5/8" lower than stock plastic tailgate cap.

    After looking at the cap, the center section should be ok, but the corners I will have issue with. Past my window, I would have that gap you are speaking about on the corners.
