Installed my sPod this weekend. More pictures and details on that later. But while we still had daylight, I did a little goofing off.

New, 25w radio. Fit perfectly where the ash tray normally goes. Don't keep anything in it anyways, since it likes to slide open and eject all of its contents as soon as i leave pavement.

    Got my tent!

Trip to big bear is planned for next weekend, so i'll be able to report back on comfort etc. This thing is really well built, and kudos to Tepui for having someone come in on the weekend to allow me to pick it up, and help me instal it.

I've been trying to figure out what to do with the grille. I hate chrome, but I like the OEM-ness of it.

I did bed liner on mine, but I would just plastidip it. That way you don't have to sand it and you can pressure wash it off if you get tired of it.

Ive considered plastidip, but I'm not sure how i feel about texture on the grille.

    Had some fun today....

If you haven't found your answer already. There is suppose to be a thick rubber square cut o-ring that sits in that oil filler cap.

I thought there was nothing there. Do you have a picture of yours? If its supposed to have a ring, i definitely should get one. I spend a lot of time in very fine dusty situations.

Sorry I don't have any pics from my Tacoma. I replaced that square cut o-ring on both of my Tacomas. Just take the Oil filler cap into a Toyota Dealer Parts Dept and they can order it for you. The o-ring is a couple of dollars.

Takes a little thing like this. That's for a Billet LCE cap, stock might be a different part number.

@Willbeck How have your Deaver springs held up with your RTT? They handle the weight ok? Since you have moved the rear shocks outboard have the tires rubbed them at all?

The tires do rub at full articulation. Just enough to leave a black smear.

The deavers hold the weight perfectly. They hold much more weight than the stock springs could, and I maintain both my ride comfy and height. I honestly couldn't be happier with them.

You can see where the tires wiped the dust away.
