    Nothing exciting.......new shoes, alignment, inspection, registration & oil change. Just went with NTGs again. Tried considering some others but just went with what has been working. Others all had some strike against them...looks more like street tire than AT, cost more, less treadwear rating, heavier, not in 265/70/16, etc etc etc. Fresh green stripe foteaux........

    So I just checked AutoAnything for pricing on both the AVS and the EGR. Both have free shipping, both have a 15% off code, so it's a difference of a couple bucks between the two.

    AVS = $59.49
    EGR = $63.74

    Peeps that have one or the other seem to have really good experiences with both, so that makes it even tougher to make a decision. I know with the AVS I can go to a local Advanced Auto and pick them up, but don't believe I can do the same with the EGR. Being the type of person I am, I'd love to go pick them up, but with two little ones now might be damn near impossible to be able to sneak out for a bit, so might go the ordering route.

    Thinking I'm going to pull the trigger on the EGRs and see what happens!

    If you're going the ordering route looks like Amazon has them for a lot less and free prime shipping.

    It was finally above 40 degrees in northern Minny yesterday so I gave her a good wash, dipped the emblem, and added a TRD badge to the grill. Also debadged the tailgate. Next up front will be a color matched surround to replace that chrome.

    None yet, starting over!! OME lift w/ Dakars & 885's Remote Start w/ window control
    Got my OME suspension installed Saturday... OME 885's and Dakar leaf spring set. Huge thanks to @bjmoose for his how to sticky and a post in @chris4x4's front shock removal sticky

    Install took me 13 hrs from the time I left my place, getting to my dad's to use his carport, finding an electric impact wrench to rent for the day (absolute best $24 that I've spent yet on upgrading anything in my truck), and back home. There were probably 3-4 hrs of looking shit up on the internet and/or attempting to get questions answered or getting help and tools necessary (Tie-rod puller is absolutely invaluable for disconnecting the UCA's from the spindles, BTW). Had to enlist the help of an old neighbor (and said tie-rod puller) to brute-force/manipulate the new coilovers in the front into place.

    Pre-lift ground to fender:
    • FL: 33 3/8
    • FR: 33 5/8
    • RL: 35 1/8
    • RR: 36
    This one was after finishing the rear install - about 3-3 1/2 hrs to do by myself
    [IMG]
    [IMG]
    All finished, Sunday afternoon after leaving the Timbers game

    The front install probably took another 3 1/2-4 hrs to do, with help, but I think that if I were to do this again, I could have it done in 2 1/2-3 hrs. Final measurements
    • FL: 36 3/4 (+3 3/8)
    • FR: 36 7/8 (+3 1/4)
    • RL: 38 1/2 (+3 3/8)
    • RR: 39 1/2 (+3 1/2)
    Truck is in the shop for it's post-lift alignment, and they're being nice enough to check the torque on all the bolts that I removed. Wheels get paid for Friday, going with 18" Ballistic Jesters and 265/70 tires (not sure which ones, might stick with the Discoverer A/T3's that are currently on) will get ordered after I've got the wheels paid for... gonna sport the gangly teen look for a few weeks LOL

    Question for everyone - anyone know why there's a 1" difference from the left to right rear numbers? (Taco lean comments aside)

    This is my daily driver, so 99% of my use is gonna be on-road, and I don't really want to go wider than a 265... if there's a 75 series tire that's more readily available, but I was looking at the Cooper Discoverer A/T3 tire sizes (same tires I'm currently using) and they don't list a 265/75/18, they've got a 265/70/18 thoughCooper Tire Sizes.jpg

    nope... I had just over a 1/4 tank of gas... and I don't think my 60 lb 4-legged helper could cause that much of a lean
