Did you get line-x or did you do something to it when you got it? Also what's the difference between fogs and fog insert plates? I'm debating on doin the led bar or not. I'm confused on why it's 100 dollars more for just the slot. I may try my luck and cut my own slot. Last question... Did you go aluminum? Is it worth the extra 400 bones?

    - no, Rustoleum semi-gloss is what I used
    - just asked Eddy, he said it's a new option, it's more of a color type plate that bolts on, so if you wanted to do a 2 tone kinda like my truck is, then you can paint that plate a different color and then bolt it on over the fog holes

    - thats honestly just it is and the way the cut is, a bit more cutting involved to be able to fit the 20" bar in there, you can always do what I did and just bolt it on top
    - no, mines steel BUT it is also a hybrid, so it does weigh A LOT less then the plate bumpers do. I mean if you want to save weight then yeah aluminum is the way to get....but personally....id stick with steel, cheaper and stronger. all up to you though lol

We definitely took our time. It was a stupid mistake I am regretting horribly. Ain't shit I can do now though. It's not really wanting to bend much. That mount is welded to the damn axle. How would that work, replacing it?

Shock relocation huh? I'm intrigued. What's the purpose? More travel?

well, i meant more of as dont install parts with things missing lol. cut the damn thing off and weld the relocation bracket on. yeah, allows you to fit a long shock for more droop

EDIT: but it just dawned on me you have a 3rd gen lol, I'm not sure if the 2nd gen shock relocation kits fit the 3rd gens

no problem lol, Im just not sure on a fix at the moment, IF the 2nd gen shock relocation kits work, then you can get one of those and some longer shocks and you'll be set

Right on, I don't see a hybrid option but it says 115-130 lbs for the one I'm looking at. I'm debating or not if I want hoops or not. I kinda like em but I don't know if I like them enough to shell out the extra cash for em. By the time I put full hoops and line-x I can get an arb bumper. Decisions decisions... Did you have to fight it a lot to get it lined up and installed? I'm thinking about just removing the bumper while I wait for the replacement. 8-12 weeks is going to suck without a bumper:bananadead:

yeah Eddy stopped building them since they took way more time to do since there is more tubing that needs to be bent and welded. I dunno, maybe once I get out and get better welding skills, I can go work for Eddy and get those hybrids pumping out again haha

Dude...please dont go ARB lol, those things wont stand up to the abuse these will......my truck got yanked out of a hole from a buddy of mine with 20ft or so of slack in the recovery line......hardest fucking snatch ever. I nearly went into the steering wheel with how hard it was, and that was even bracing for it when I saw it coming lol. only thing that happened was my mounting plate got bent like 3 or 4*. so Ill just have to take a sledge hammer to the bumper to smash it straight again. these bumpers take some awesome abuse, Eddy does amazing work

I say go for em if you want to lol, I like the way they look, the wait is worth it though haha. I think I only had to wait like 6 weeks or something, but that was when Eddy was still working out of his garage and cutting the bumpers by hand

@Jnelsen Also you could look at Insane Fabrication or Pelfreybilt :)

@rodeho The 2nd Gen shock relocation from BAMF also fits the Turd gens, Jerry checked that out for me already and I actually am getting those put on....This week more than likely!

Also, I need to take my front Kings off to extend them.... the Res line gets in the way and doesn't allow me to extend them while on the truck :(

Nice! Where are you getting them done? Which kit did you order? Chris mentioned a longer shock. I have the Icon 2.5" in the rear. Would this be a longer shock?

As far as adjusting your coilovers...I was able to adjust mine with the reservoir hose right in the middle. I have two ends to my spanner wrench. I just took the flat end with a little pin at the end and stuck it in the hole and cranked those things. However I did also read somewhere in the Mid Travel Thread that the Kings are recommended to be adjusted off the vehicle. I tried adjusting mine before I put them on. There was no damn way. Good luck!

I dunno where as of yet. Waiting to hear back from someone down here in PC. The longer shocks are ones that are 12"+ extension length. So like the Kings I ordered are 20 compressed 32" extended. So they are King 2.0 12" smoothies. Find out what ICONs you have and if you have extra "play" in them.

I hate to take the damn things back off but, I CANNOT get to the passenger one at all, and it actually started leaking when I tried to twist the neck so I tightened it back down and said fuck no lol

Haha yeah I wouldn't mess with that. That completely sucks though dude. All that work only to have to take them off and get it realigned. At least you know the process. It really wasn't all that bad. I kind of enjoyed it.

I will look at the specs on my shocks. Thanks man.

That's what I was thinking lol, @rodeho is gonna have to her a relocation kit after his accident with his shock mount lol. Those things are a bitch to bend back into place. The easiest thing to do will be cut them off and weld the relocation kits on.

Nah, stick with SOS, he's the only fabricator on the east coast. I spent $960 total on mine, I went back through PMs and found the price he gave me, that is including the shipping as well

Your icons are most likely 10" travel shocks. The relocation kit allows you to fit 12"+ shocks like @Jystr was saying. I'll eventually do that....I just dont have money for that right now haha. Plus in the future I'm going 4 link in the rear anyway with a bed cage

That relocation kit is tempting but I got the other side installed and I don't think my shocks would benefit from the relocation kit. According to DSM (Icon doesn't post the travel numbers????) they only travel 9.3". I really don't want to order new shocks. I waited 3 months for these.
