If that was mine truck I would be like..
    Wahhhhttttt...

    Let me get this straight:
You found no problems, but kept truck for week and half instead of saying "can't duplicate a problem like usual"
Flew Toyota field agent to a truck in NC with no replicable problem.
After a week and half determined its pressure sensor, a sensor that apparently does not like angles (first one in its kind).
Now did you not test pressure sensor as the first thing, maybe try swapping it since it takes like 10 minutes?
And it will take you two days to get sensor in place, than run more tests?

    Just saying

I've seen two engine issues on here and two times Toyota corporate was involved. It doesn't surprise me. It shows a desire to have good initial QDR and catch factory issues before they turn into mass market issues.

I agree. Good to see the effort with new designs.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
OP, ignore the fear mongering. However, I would consider having a polite discussion with Toyota and request an extended warranty on your engine. I doubt its needed but I wouldn't take the chance.

I would also try to replicate the issue when you get your truck back to make sure its fixed.

Oil sump location or upper lubrication drain-back features are likely the problem. Stopped on a steep driveway today. Stepped out while the truck was running. When I got back to the truck it was ticking like a 1982 Chevette, oil low light on. Full on oil after I got to level ground and let it run for about a Marlboro.
Makes me wonder if 4x4 of the year is awarded to the highest bidder....

I went climbing a bunch of very steep hills (on board roll meters were showing 25-35 Degrees) this past weekend, and was stopped on it for a little bit... and had zero issues with oil pressure, no noise or anything. Could it be just that one?

Oh an CRAWL control is AWESOME!

This truck doesn't have an egr valve. And if it did, it's not even close to the liking system.

Edit: go to the 2nd gen section if your truck is the 2013 listed

This same thing happened to me this morning at work. I was going to drive up the ramp to park and the low pressure light came on and truck shut down. I costed back down the ramp to flat land and waited a few minutes started truck back up and all the lights etc. were good. And I was able to drive up the ramp and park. Will be checking my oil level before I leave work today(was dark when I got here).
Mine Tacoma is also a 2016.

I have this problem when more then 25 degrees incline OR camber. Low oil warning comes up. Is this a problem or just a sensitive senser, Not clear to much BS in this thread.
