I did the same thing with the tool box on my 2nd gen. I loved it. I thought I would try something different this time. My 29er fits great. image.jpgimage.jpg

Do you have a close up picture of where you attached the bike mounts on the back side of the bed cover?

Not on me now, I am traveling. I use a bed rail off off my 2nd gen that I had removed from the front end of the bed to install my tool box. I attached it to the middle of the second piece of the tri-fold I used 3/4 inch sheet metal screws. You can attach the mounts straight to the cover the same way. Under the plastic is what appears to be 1/8 aluminum. It worked great.

I got the info from el_zorro1. But basically here you go...
    First i bought this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SSFGDXW?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01

Attaching the lights to the grill: I used one 1/4" by 1 1/2" rubber washer and one 3/8" fender washer from home depot (similar to these: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-4-in-x-1-1-2-in-Black-Neoprene-Washer-815828/204276443 and http://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt...eel-Fender-Washer-2-per-Pack-800531/204284503). I used the provided nut to attach to the grill (light in first, then from behind the grill I used the rubber washer, metal washer, nut)

Each light has two wires, red/black. Tie all reds together, tie all black together, i used some butt connectors to connect all the reds and all the blacks. Then ran one black to the battery negative connection, then one red to the fuse box using an add-a-fuse connection.

You need to make sure and use 'switched' circuit (one that would turn on with the car) I found a 10A (red) fuse, on the top side of the box labeled INJ , (above one labeled EFI NO3) near some relays. I am sure there are other circuits, but that worked for me.

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
I had zero interest in trying to tape all that off. Especially the holes in the A and O. I went the route that I knew I would be most successful!

What lights did you use for your interior? I bought some for my last car and after about 6 months they were starting to flicker... As my truck cost almost twice as much as my last car I want to put some decent bulbs in.
