I'm definitely interested. My tax check is in and spent but if the timing is right I'll have my bonus about that time.

For anyone debating on getting one of these... DO IT! I spoke with CVT a few times regarding my order I had placed and they were amazingly helpful. Friendly on the phone and they ALL knew every detail about the order...its like they actually communicate inside their office! LOL. That being said, there was a mix up with the shipping WEIGHT, but that could have been a number of things, and CVT was great helping me get the correct one and figure out if I would be able to lift this thing with just a friend.

Also, I got my tent about 1.5week after I ordered. And the last half week was because I wasn't available to accept delivery.

Number 98, can you pull the awning off of mine? Got too good of a deal on an ARB to pass up. Might switch to a Mt. Adams as well but I'll hold on McKinley for now.

    Workin' on it....
Can anyone comment on how these tents handle the continual moisture of the pacific northwest?

ie. Do most people take them off and store in their garage between actual camping trips or do most just leave them on their truck 365 days a year?

The rain wont really mess with you much. I would say just open It up to make sure you dont have and inside or let it dry out. I power was my truck and take it thru carwashes with my old one. but its smart to take it off for extended periods anyway cause it will sag your leafs faster if you just leave it up tgere all the time.

Anyone interested in letting a t4r.org member join your group shipping to the Salt Lake City area?

There is a heavy duty tarp that covers the tent when not using it. Its legit!

My tent weighs in at around 130lbs and they were stating it was 374 lol.

Maybe the FedEx guy had to stand on the scale with it to balance it and they "forgot" to subtract his weight....

So I totally didn't read all 41 pages. But I guess I'll sell my tent and annex for that^^^^ And is this actually going or do we know yet? But put me in for this:

Whitecloud- 55" Fan out awning and Mt. Adams in the Summit Series w/annex (Pending on price for the RTT)

how are you planning on mounting it to your Runner? FYI the stock cross bars are not strong enough. Are you planning on going with a full roof rack replacement (frontrunner, baja, etc) or something simpler like thule bars (what I use)? I would recommend at least three people to hoist it up onto the roof - one at each front corner and one on the back edge. Four would be better. I left my Thule bars attached to the tent last fall, it will be easier to set it up this time around plus we can use the ends of the bars to grab onto.

I don't fit in my garage either.... :annoyed:

It bolts on easily. And taking off and on is ok fortwo people its just a awkward weight and having tge truck in the middle doesnt help.

Edit. Nevermind just saw you have a 4runner

Its a different process to get it on the roof vs on the bed. I could load/unload my tent on my truck by myself, no way I could get it on the roof! For a solo install on a truck bed you just open the tailgate, lean tent against tailgate with the bottom facing the truck, wrap a ratchet strap around the forward edge of your rack and then under the tent, climb into bed of truck behind cab, slide/pull the tent up and onto the rack using the straps. Voila!
