I still need to replace my carrier bearing and u joints.

 

I was going to say i want to see some pics!

 

It's was pouring down in Porter Ranch then the drive home sucked even more...2+hrs But the upside I get to buy some ammo and check out some guns on my day off

 

With out hearing the noise its hard to really give an opinion. I would think the diff would growl more than wine and would be more noticeable when hard turning. Have you ever changed your diff fluid? How many miles are on your truck? I had a growl in mine and I put in a high end product (my product lol) with a limited slip additive and it went away. Should probably do the diff fluid every 30k 50 at the most. I went to 90 k and did it with Valvoline that supposedly has the LSA in it. Growl got worse. Then I used the product I sell and it went away.

As for whining that sounds like something with smaller gears or trans? Not sure. Have you looked at your carrier bearing? I have play in mine about a 1/4 inch and no whine

Debating between a ar-15 short barrel aka m4 or a HK USP Compact 40

 

My brother just got a vepr that shoots a 7.62 x 54. That gun is sexy. I haven't had a chance to shoot it. It's based on the ak platform and is labeled a hunting gun instead of an assault rifle.

I'd buy a gun but I put too much into my truck lately

 

I'm a gun noob but isn't a short barrel illegal? Like I said...I know very little about guns. I can shoot, reload, and clean. However, I'm unaware of the laws and classifications.

EDIT: FYI I won't ever bring these questions into the actual AR thread...I'll get laughed out of that place.

What fog lights did you get!?Thinking of getting my dust lights for the rear soon although i'm only going to run one since they come in pairs unless purchasing one is possible!

 

I ended up buying the HK USP Compact 40. I couldn't resist it, it was like a hot brunette begging me to touch and feel her everywhere

Now just have countdown to 10 days

 

Sorry I meant to say M4 carbine. Most people don't know a M4 to a M16 or a AR15

 

I bought stock fog lights about a year ago. I just dont know a damn thing about electrical. I need a wiring harness for them. And I have heard that Jerez is THE Man to go to regarding electrical stuff.

 

Any gun that fires the 7.62 round is sexy ...
Well unless it's the 50 cal then that's dead sexy
