In Canada we pay a lot more. I'm just lucky that right now I have a lot of deductions I can finally take advantage of as a home owner with a newborn child. I'm like the definition of the people our new government says they will help to stimulate the economy lol.

You guys do pay more, but I really believe income taxes are wrong. I don't understand how half the people in this country pay zero. I've never not paid. Bernie has it all wrong.

Anyway. Talk like that may get me banned.

How small can we go before engine management is required?

All good. That's your opinion and it doesn't hurt me in anyway .

Honestly, if you want certain things from the government you have to allow them to collect the taxes to pay for them in some form. If you think the government shouldn't provide some services then you probably don't believe in taxation either. It's not a hard path to follow either way.

Now, back to the S/C'd madness. There is no need for more bans tonight lol.

It's arguable. Some people have ran the 2.7" without any other mods and have had no problems. You are pushing the envelope there though especially since whatever margin you have will be dependent on the rest of your mods at that point. I'd say that's as far as you'd want to go without having EMS if you are a guy who likes to push the edge. If you want to play it safe stick to the 2.85" pulley and find other ways to gain a bit of power.

Custom camshafts for more power, I remember Torspd mentioning this awhile back and experimenting with it

Still, that's making a lot of power with a lot more fuel and air on the stock TRD tune. I'm no expert so I'm not saying it's definitely a bad idea, but common sense says at that point if you want stability some sort of tunability should be in your future.

You could be right on the injectors. I just remember someone telling me with the 2.55" you are riding the edge without another injector in there. It might of been Tor that told me that in another thread.

Basically what I'm saying is that the TRD tuning tables assume a lot of things. While doing the FPR and running the 2.55" could be enough to bring things back to the point where the tables are close enough, any other mods piled up on top of that will draw those values farther and farther away from "safe" and/or "optimal". At that point why not tune for the best if you are trying to go that far?

Tuning is cheaper than a new engine anyways.

Cars will fly by then though.

I can't really run the smaller than 2.85" pulleys anyways. I want to have a chance at warranty and grabbing the smaller pulley requires snout cutting. That kind of defeats the purpose of the stealth pulley in a way.

Found a supercharged GTO on Autotrader last night... Allegedly all done in a local speed shop. Cheaper to buy than build.

I went and found the warehouse where it's stored. I only have a two car garage...might need to rent some storage. Dallas weather can be a bit violent. Don't need it, but I do like speed.

I wonder if Gadget will sell just the ECU tune. That could have a pretty good market for guys who have the TRD supercharger just lying around in the box somewhere who don't want to go to a dealer.
