I live in VA. I guess tax wasn't included. It hasn't even been 24 hours. My head is still spinning from the sales managers.

 

I've been lurking on this forum for the past month or so and finally decided to make an account.
I've been searching for a TRD OR DC 4X4 LB with or without Tech, preferably Tech for the heated seats and the color matched bumper in Quicksand or Barcelona Red. One dealer in VA had them but sold both in a matter of two days while discussing pricing. That hurt

I searched every dealers online inventory from Texas to Seattle. Called numerous possibles. All sold within a day or two of arrival.

Finally found one in Las Vegas. Confirmed options I had to have, gave a credit card deposit over phone and drove the six hours there the next morning.

Do the TRD models also come with Sun Roof? Can you order with 17" rims?

 

Moon roof is included in the Premium and Technology Package for Double Cab TRDs.
TRD Sport comes with 17" wheels; Off Road comes with 16".

I want to print out the price sheet and bring it to my dear, but what do i tell them if they say its not creditable

 

Tell them that's fine and walk... I didn't bring it in with me but I used it as a reference and started 1k below invoice... Some back and forth I got the 'target' $500 above invoice


Edit: they'll work with you... They know they will sell fast but the salesman will make stuff happen so HE/SHE gets the sale

 

TRD Sport wheels are 17"


TRD offroad wheels are 16"

 

Get a copy of their 'invoice' which was probably written by the General Manager and use that to bounce of this post. If they call BS on what you have and won't work with you then thank them for their time and walk. Key to sales is to sell on emotion. If you walk they will work harder

Going to need a lot of luck! Is there a website that you guys used to find the Tacomas and where they are allocated? I've just been using cars.com for the most part besides Googling random dealerships to check their inventory.

If you get the right salesperson in Southeast Toyota or Gulf States Toyota they have huge inventories and will move them accordingly. After that, dealers may only have 2-3 others they will swap with.

I used Toyota . Com. Find a dealer and started working my way out in a radius and places that would be easy to get to.

which is about 13% of all Toyota dealers in the usa. and your point is?

 

there are roughly 1200 Toyota dealers across the 49 states. you could say outside of GST/SET the rest of Toyota has about 800 dealers that's sells 70% of Toyota sales in the usa.

and that's really how it is, you have your GST clan, the SET clan and the rest are part of Toyota usa directly.

 

Whatever and however you'd like to look at it.
