I was going to get 275s, but from what I read it looks like they will rub if you have mud guards. I wanted to keep my mud guards so I went with the 265s. Very satisfied with the look and feel of these.

For anyone looking to buy tires, I bought KO2s on tirebuyer.com last week and I used this promo code (COUPONSCOM9) to get 9% off my order which ended up saving me about $75. They also ship for free if you have them shipped to a tirebuyer installer, which is what I did. My total after taxes for 265/70/17 KO2s was about $788.

I'm getting everything installed next week. 3" lift with adjustable UCAs, TRD wheels and 285/70/17 BFs. I have a set of spacers just in case.

I would like to know if anyone has had success with 285's. I have 285/70/17 BFG's on a set of Dick Cepek Torque wheels that are 8.5' wide. I have a 2" lift and no rubbing.

How have you guys found the matte finish for keeping clean? Does the finish hold dirt and brake dust?

Has anyone tried Toyos Open Country AT II in a 285/75/17 They are a 33.9 but only 11.3 wide. So perfect if you want to run a 34 but don't want to deal with the 12.5 width a 34 often come in.

I am running 295/75/16s on my 100 series. Super great tire, really quiet and handle the elements well in Colorado.

How big of a tire will work on the 3rd Gens?

285/75/16s and 255/85/16s are 32.7 and 33.5 respectively depending on manufacturer, I expect these sizes are a no brainer as far as fit.

The 285/75/17 in the Toyo AT II is 33.9 which is really cool and ideal, at almost a 34 with less drag in 11.3 width. Kind of the holy grail for day to day driving and off road height, feature clearance.

Any ideas where I might find these close to Vancouver BC? They're looking hot with the KO2's
