    What's up guys- need feedback.

So yesterday a gate door swung and nailed my driver side door!! It hurt me more than my truck as I was backing out of driveway at my in laws and herd the door slam up against my door.

So it chipped my pint/ and a dent size is about a silver dollar below door handle. As soon as I got home I used the blow dryer/ compressed air method and actually helped. I also had they touch up paint from Toyota. Doesn't look that bad.

Yet- I know I'm not driving a 100k car but I try to take care of my stuff. Truck is pretty much 98% dent / scratch free for being a 2013 and toddler. It just kills me to see this dent especially since it's the only one one! And happens to be on my door! My wife thinks im overacting.

Found a Mobile dent/ pint touch up guy on yelp and has good reviews before/ after pics. Do any of you have guys in LA area u used?

My concern is down the line- will this paint hold up? And since on my door if it starts to crack etc- gonna be really noticable . Any of you guys have this type of work done? I know I'm running risk just wanted to get your opinions . If I should just let it be? Just sent pics to guy- waiting to get price.

    Thanks image.jpg

I would be careful. I used one on the subaru I had right before my Tacoma. They fixed a few dents and repainted a section of my hood that was damaged. The dents came out perfect - 100% satisfied. The paint was TERRIBLE. Ended up needing to go to a body shop to have it fixed.

I bet there are some good ones out there. Definitely, read reviews.

Thanks guys I agree. Might just let it be.

Now that i think about it, i might run the risk of getting crappy paint down the line. Now that i think about it, back in 06 had a guy come out to do my mom's new 06 Acura TL (at the time). looked great for about 2-3 years but paint at bumper started to crack when waxed. All the reviews are great but they are also recent.

Plus just got a text from guy saying " sorry have to go to a body shop cuz we cant fix your truck" haha maybe its a sign. I know it's a truck and this is bound to happen. Just gonna piss me off every time i open my door.

Maybe it's the big guy upstairs teaching me patience/ and not to sweet the small stuff. haha

I would be pissed too, those guys usually do pretty good on dents but not sure how they are on paint damage. You could always ask the guy for references or pictures of his work.

yup- all his pics on yelp and looks good. But they just told me they wont be able to work on my turck? weird since its a small dent- maybe location? I'm gonna try to live with it. I did kinda work it out. Might try to hit it up some more with heat gun and compressed air can.
