We keep our finances separate. She can spend her money on whatever she wants as long as she pays her half of the bills. We almost never fight about money thanks to it.

 

If the kids were in grade school, we'd be making some serious coin. Daycare is about $900-$1100 a month for 2 kids. 4 more years and I can start modding without questions asked by the wife. 4 more damn years

This time 10!! Growing up my dad wasn't really a hands on kind of guy with us kids. I pretty much taught myself most of what I know by doing tons of research and by simply taking the jump and doing it. Common sense goes a long way too. Also for me I hate giving someone else money for something I know I can figure out on my own.

 

This actually sounds like a good idea, cause if I had money laying around I'd prolly be making a purchase with u.

 

This is why I bought our house 1 block over from the In laws, it's not the funnest thing ever to have her dad constantly dropping by to look at how my projects are going and give his 2 cents, but the free daycare that starts in a few months after she's born will make everything worth it. Btw our house is the exact model as theirs minus we have a pool and bigger yard, so my daughters room is the room my wife grew up in.

When I was in Buffalo (18 months before moving here), I was in TW withdrawal! There were 2 or 3 threads, with maybe 2 dozen posts (not counting mine) TOTAL in the 18 months!!! I spent a lot of time in the Southeastern VA threads (my "home"). I understand!!!!

Thats how whit and I roll too. If she needs extra
cash for something I give it to her. But we never fight about monies either. Its a solid plan that works for us

Any recommendations for a ccw class? Looking for someplace that runs classes on sundays or weekdays.

Scottsdale gun club does a 4hr class for $59 for non members, I'm sure you can find a few with $10-20$ cheaper but i like them overall for stuff, use to live just a few blocks away so went a lot.

 

Bummer man. Think of it as an opportunity to start fresh and upgrade!

this is the class I did on my second go round (didnt finish the DPS paperwork the first time) Very well taught, I had a firearms attorney do the class and he was awesome.
