    rear diff is rusting through on the top rear portion,is there any recall for this as there was for the frame,probably same batch of cheap steel.

    There was a fella that had this problem several months back too. No recall. He had to buy a replacement piece, not sure how he found one. His was the rear of the pumkin that rusted through causing the gear oil to seep out. But he had that piece cut off and the new welded back on...

    I bought a rear diff cover for a land cruiser and modified it a bit to make it work. Had to grind and weld it a number of times to get all of the pin leaks but the repair is holding up nicely.

    Might want to buy some axle gussets to strengthen it back up.
