I will be redoing it but it is good for now. I had bought a used grill insert of craigslist, but it was missing some tabs. I wanted to get this on so I went ahead and cut it up to install Homertacos mesh. I will start on my old grill and take my time on the cut and install the mesh in it this weekend. All in all thou it turned out ok and Homertacos mesh are nicely done.

I've always wanted to give my truck a facelift with new rechelonaesthetics headlights and A Homertaco grille ....
but last time I logged into my bank account it actually said "Get the fuck out sir" so i guess I won't be anytime soon.

 

Did your Dakars come with ++ or -- on them? Is so did you put them on the correct side. If not it could account for the more than normal taco lean.

 

So I had the guy at the tire shop give them a little more preload than they came with and they ride great. Also took off the sway bar.

 

Got rid of this mysterious clunk!! Very lucky it was the easiest fix possible-my LCA bolts were not tight. She's getting a touch-up alignment right now.

 

Oh f#(&... I just thought those were to point to the front of the spring... I'm gonna be p___ed if I have to take them off cuz I put them on the wrong side...

 

No, they're there to let you know if they are over or under the spring rate spec. Better go check

Today I did the 'grey rear headlight housing delete mod'. I painted my radiator etc a long time ago but the grey headlight housings have been an eyesore for me so yesterday, I took care of this with some painters tape and a lick of black paint; And yes, this is ridiculous.

Installed a tailgate assist. Pretty simple install, and it works great!

Due to my new swingouts my camera was blocked and useless...

Now, I relocated it and just need to elongate the cables for it to work...

I apologize, no pics or sound clips, but installed my magnaflow cat back today. Very quick install (about 35-40 minutes). I'm still up in air about the sound. I mean, I kind of like it, but this is my first exhaust on a non V8, so its weird. I'm going to have my wife do drive by's this weekend so I can get a better gauge on the sound from the outside. I do have a Vibrant resonator to add and probably will add to cut any rasp down.

 

Ohh la la finally gearing it up for the move to 33's. Picked up these butes plus icon AAL. Yewwww!
