With plasti dip you don't have to tape everything off whatever excess spray u have just peels off. Even inside the A and O! Just for future reference little easier to work with than actual spray paint

That's the link to a thread that I used for my LEDs. Part numbers are included and it's a cheap mod that works great. You will hear some folks talk about blowing fuses, flickering lights, etc but I have none of that with these. FYI that the dome light mentioned is too long so most downsized one or two mm in length.

Installed a @Pelfreybilt aluminum front skid today. Spent the last few days prepping it. Fits like a glove! Can't wait to give it some character.

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
OK, new question: lets talk Skids. I have a TRD OR with the factory skids - 2 pieces. I smashed the hell out of them last weekend - both of them. If you really look at them, they are made of really thin metal. I don't think they are designed to protect against rocks, maybe loose gravel and mud.

Anyway, whats the best option for new skids? I want great protection and of course, great price. I spoke with Relentless Fabrication. They are nice. They offer a 1 piece replacement for the stock 2 piece. Thee heavy duty option is 1/4 steel. Anyone know what the stock skids are made of? just for comparison? Thanks for any talk on this.

Installed the Gator FX3. Thanks to all the tips on here, the install went pretty well. Liking the nice flush fit. Seat covers next..

They will but its easier to get a better deal going to the original dealer. They will want to add on transport fees

Thanks, I rolled around under there looking for a while and searched online.. Then just went ahead and bolted them on. Real easy install, one 13mm socket and a toreq wrench.

I wasn't happy with the height of the Lund side steps, so I fab'd up some 2" extensions. Much better. Now my girlfriend and I feel like we are climbing up into the truck, not up then back down.
