Clazzio leather seat covers!

Sad, still waiting for mine to be shipped from Japan. I thought everything is made in China.

 

one of my coworkers showed me his tundra with coverking leather covers installed....lets just say they looked saggier than an old man's scrotum. I'm not sure if they fit the same way on tacos, but if anyone is on the fence between clazzio's and coverings.....spend the extra $20-$30 and get clazzio's. Consider this a service announcement lol

 

Yes I paid nearly $500 for coverking neosupremes for wifes 2016 Escape. They are a great color and fabric match. The fit is not quite up to par. After a few weeks they still have the saggy Grampa look. I was on the fence for the Clazzios until I mounted her covers. Clazzios look superb based on all the pictures here. Will post mine when they are installed next weekend. The funny thing is that Clazzio was never a factor until I watched the TW threads. Just never saw them advertised anywhere. Ironically the Clazzios are my next to last anticipated big money mod. Tires and wheels will be one of my final mods. With my steps, interior LED's, vent visors, husky liners and Leonard box I am only desiring wheels. I plan on getting through the 12 months of full warranty before I spend too much more. With the seat covers I have only spent around $1100 thus far. Feel like that was all well spent so far. Just wish I could find a good wheel visualizer site that actually has 2016 Tacos on it.

 

I actually heard good things about the neosupremes....I was referring specifically to their leather covers which I believe they call leatherettes.

But yeah, I haven't heard about clazzio's until I joined tw in 2012. I have watched every Clazzio installation video on YouTube and they all pretty much install the same. I recommend everyone check out a few of those vids prior to installing your own.

Someone on here was worrying that spilled drinks would just soak through the perforated leather into the fabric. I just read this from their site.

"LEATHER insert kits are the way to go. They have a genuine perforated leather insert, under that is an anti-bacterial waterproof layer."

Yep, it works fine for the doublecab order, but that is also $599 and the AC is $350. I'll call them tomorrow.

 

hey, for sure, that was me mentioning the spilled drinks on the seats. thanks for pointing out the waterproof layer! will put those back on my possibly list for sure and do some more research on them... thanks a lot!!

 

My guess is they didn't apply the coupon code to AC seats since the cost is much lower--thus the same percentage discount cannot be applied to a lower priced seat.

Also, if you read the email, they are mentioning the $380 price which was DC only.

You could call and ask them to start a promo code for the access cabs . It's a win win for both parties ! You get a nice discount and they get more business!
