It would probably reach on the outermost hole, but it wasn't coming out easy when I tried to pry it out so I took the path of least resistance. An S hook on my tool box lol!

Instead of doing that just relocate the cable to the hole where your hook is and the cap can easily hang over the latch clip. It won't break if that's what you're worried about. The plug comes out fairly easy.

Why are people so anal about hanging their gas cap on something?

I'm on board with distancing it from a work truck utility look. SR is a cool package in the front end black bezel and more color match parts with no chrome except the front grill Toyota emblem. I'm doing Tail Light Guards when they come out to break up the huge red tail lights and go with my Predator steps, then wheels once these tires need replacing

By definition, do we need a reason to be anal?

Any noticeable difference in starting from a stop and normal driving with aftermarket rims and tires vs the steelies? Or MPG?

Because , just letting the cap rest against the fender will cause it to stain over time

Well, before I did that, I removed the driver's side kick panel to hard-wire the radar detector and it should have just pulled out, but it snapped instead and broke inside where the plastic grommet seats.
So pardon me, if I was just a little apprehensive to put the hammer down on yet another tight fit :/

Completely understand that. My wife calls it my "retard strength" when I bust something like that.

Put a couple SR5 emblems on it and you could really really throw people off when they saw your truck. I was going to have the dealership take mine off before I picked up the truck but the salesman talked me out of it.

Finally got my Icom 2730a 2m/440 installed on a 22" lido mount. Using an old Larsen NMO 150. I ordered a new Larsen NMO 2/70 & programming software/cable which should be here tomorrow.
Now to figure out where to put my HF gear.

What brand flaps did you get? I noticed dirt and crap flung up all the way to the passenger window the other day after driving in a bit of mud so I need to pick some up. I don't have the wheel flares though so I can't use OEM.

He prolly has the XP package. I do and my truck came with those wheels. XD rockstar. I love how they look but hate cleaning them lol

The dealership where i bought my taco has a tundra xp with 20" rockstars too. Nice truck... But 50 grand.

    Poor dog.

I'd give up my wheels before i gave up my dog.... In fact you better shoot me if you take my dog. I won't go to jail for tires and wheels... These days... But I'd be happy to spend a few nights over my dog.

Looks great bro. Enjoy it man.

And that warehouse garage workshop... Whatever it is... Badass too.

No flares here either but I'm using weathertech flaps.

They work excellent. Just make sure you get the ones for no flares.
