What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Yeah every time I deal with clips I always take my time haha

 

Anyone wanna take a guess at what's going on here. Probably isn't that hard to see, and yes pink tape because.

 

Drilling holes for lights/blinkers

What are you guys talking about clips???? My filler panels just have a screw under the grill then the other end is wedged in between too thin pieces of metal.

Maybe that's why one end always fall off.

 

It's not really a clip, it's kinda hard to explain. I can take a picture if you want

 

It's the grey thing on the far right just to the left of the screw under the headlight. If that makes sense

 

That's the one, now that I know what it is it shouldn't be a problem to do.

 

Use a ruler. At least get the holes straight across

 

For sure, I was just seeing what it was gonna look like more or less. Definitely take my time before I Dremel the holes out.

 

So that why mine always fall off lol. Where can I get one of those? Are they attached to the headlight? Caus do got new headlight for the retrofit and those weren't there...

 

i don't think they are, I'm gonna check the auto part stores as I drive through town tomorrow.

Good thing I just had another set delivered huh.

 

I've got so many spare grilles at home I could harvest those clips for years.

 

I lost those fillers awhile ago.

Good spot to put turnsignals.

 

This almost sounds like a better idea

 

I'm sure you could buy more clips. No need to get a new headlight
